Qualification Equivalence |
All qualifications recognized as equivalent to +2 stage qualification of an Indian Board(10 years of formal academic programme at secondary education level followed by 2 year programme at higher secondary level recognized as entry level academic qualification for admission to any bachelor degree programme in any recognized Indian University) with a pass or satisfactory grade in Mathematics and English, Physics and Chemistry as essential or compulsory subjects of study in 12 year programme or Intermediate or senior secondary or higher secondary or GCE/IGCSE/GCSE as the case may be from a recognized institution.Some specific equivalent programmes are tabulated for reference/guidance. |

Nationality |
The applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National. Foreign students need not write VTUEEE 2010. |
Age |
Candidates who have not completed 25 years of age as on 1st July 2010are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC),
Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Challenged (PC) candidates, upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years. Date of birth as recorded
in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic |
A relaxation upto six months may be granted by the management in specific cases. |
Qualifying Examination |
Candidates appearing for the VTUEEE 2010 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2010, in any one of the following qualifying examinations: |

Eligibility Criteria in the qualifying examination: |
- A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).
- Candidates other than belonging to OC and admitted with the advantage available to other than OC communities shall produce satisfactory documents and evidence in proof thereof and they shall be entirely liable for the consequences of false claims which may include termination of their studies.
- Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura have to produce CERTIFICATES TO PROVE NATIVITY.
- These documents should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
- Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in April/May 2010 may also appear in VTUEEE 2010 for consideration of provisional admission.
- In case the marks statement is not produced by the candidates at the time of admission, the decision of the Management regarding his/her eligibility and admission to the programme shall be final.
