Dear Students,
We Indians have a rich tradition when it comes to education. The guru-shishya bond was not one that was taken very lightly; the integrity of the guru and the obedience and devotion of the shishya ensured that the true essence of the subject or trade is passed on to the next generation.
Vel Tech has a rich lineage in this knowledgeably rich country! We take education very seriously indeed— understanding that education is not just about awarding degrees, but about investing in knowledge so that the acquired knowledge can be passed on to the next generation. Each of our 12,000 plus alumni who have left our premises will vouch for this passion.
Recently, Vel Tech has been accepted as a University. It has been accredited by some of the most reputed agencies such as the NBA and by industrial giants like the TCS and CTS. To us, this is in fact a formal acknowledgement of years of hard work.
